Vancouver · Living microgreens

You are what you eat — so eat it still alive.

Gold Leaf grows premium microgreens that arrive still rooted and growing. Cut what you need at your counter — full flavour, full colour, and nothing to throw away but a compostable mat.

What we grow

Four to start the season with.

A mild-to-fiery lineup, chosen so there's something for every plate — from the crunch of sunflower to the wasabi bite of mustard.

Sunflower

Thick, juicy and nutty — the crowd-pleaser. Tastes like a fresh sunflower seed, eats like a crunchy salad.

8–10 days Mild

Radish

Crisp and peppery with a clean, bright bite — the one that wakes up tacos, eggs and grain bowls.

6–8 days Spicy
Broccoli microgreens

Broccoli

Mild and green — the one that goes with everything. Gently sweet, with none of the pepper or heat of the others.

8–10 days Mild
Wasabi mustard microgreens

Wasabi Mustard

A clean wasabi heat that hits and fades. Chefs love it on sushi, oysters and anything that needs a lift.

8–10 days Fiery
Why living

Cut greens start dying. Ours don't.

01

Alive until you cut it

A clamshell of cut greens fades from the moment it's harvested. Ours arrive still rooted, so the crunch and the colour are still there when you cut them — because you are the one cutting them.

02

Grown indoors, vertically

On clean fibre mats, under our own light and water — no field runoff, no long-haul trucking, and no warehouse in between. Everything we sell was grown in this city.

03

Harvest at your counter

The mat sits on a plate in good light, and you cut a handful at a time, straight onto the food. It outlasts any bag of cut greens, and the only thing to compost is the mat.

Why any of this exists — it started at our own kitchen table
